In general, the typical range for the watch is around 10 meters (33 feet) in an open space without any obstructions. However, factors such as walls, objects, and interference can reduce the effective range.
“Disconnect Alert” is used to notify you when the Bluetooth is out of range or disconnected.
You can enable/disable it in the H Band app (Mine > H39PLUS > Switch setting > Disconnect alert).
